My Car Sonnet

It has a beautiful red hood that it hurts,
It hurts so much that I can see my reflection
Its so beautiful that I can eat of it,
But not because I would have to clean it
It burns rubber that others behind me can't see,
I can hear them scream at me for it
I remember the day I walked in to buy it,
The person that sold it to me soon became my with

I remember the first of ever thing that happen with my car,
Like the time I drove my wife to our wedding
I remember I made my hit single in it,
I also remember hearing it in it for the first time

With out my car how would my life be,
My life wouldn’t be like this at this moment.

The History of Diego Rivera-Based on his History of Mexico Painting

You expressed your feeling for
you belonging country
You showed passion
and pride into your work

Even though you been
threw tough times you
never gave up

You painted what you
believed in

You painted your country's history
and your own history

What Happens to A One Chance In A Life Time Deferred?

Is it if you just fail?
Or is it just if it
didn't happen?

Is it just like crumbling
a piece of paper?
Or is it just like abandoning
a one chance in a life time?

The History Of Mexico By Diego Rivera

The History of Mexico Mural at National Palace in Mexico City, Mexico

Diego Rivera was born on December 8, 1886 in Guanajuato, Mexico along with his twin brother to Diego and Maria Rivera. Diego's brother died two years later in the year 1888. A year after his brother's death he started painting. As a kid Diego was very much into painting that his dad covered some of the walls in their house with paper when ever Diego would draw on the walls. Diego attended the San Carlos Academy in Mexico City. The Governor of Veracruz offered Diego a scholarship to study in Madrid, Spain. Diego was taught be amny famous artist such as Santiago Rebull, Jose Maria Velasco, Jose Guadalupe Posada, Dr. Alt, and Eduardo Chicharro. Diego was asked to paint a mural at the RCA building but ended up changing the mural to a different paint of people disliking his idea. Diego submitted sketches of his mural and the project coordinator Nelson Rockefeller approved it. People disliked it because he had included Vladimir Lenin.
Diego's Mural "The History of Mexico" shows famous events in Mexican history such as the conquistadors fighting the Aztecs and famous and the Mexican War of Independence. Diego painted this mural at he staircase at National Palace in Mexico City. As a kid Diego was very interested in Mexican history. Diego wanted to incorporate famous people in history such as Hernan Cortes and Mexican War of Independence General and Priest Miguel Hidalgo.
What the painting shows is like a easy to read book of Mexican history. Also you can see Ancient history of Mexico at the bottom and history around the Mexican War of Independence at the top of the painting. Also to me it shows how the Aztecs were defeated by the Conquistadors using new weapons that they never see. Guns. In other words its and inspiring piece of art that reveals Diego's pasion for art and interest in Mexican history
